Swallow GB Raven 8' 9" Wide - Thermowood Painted Timber Greenhouses

The Raven is a traditional greenhouse with a choice of different coloured finishes (please see options). Prices include Toughened Safety Glass, 20mm PVC Damp Barrier, Roof vents & Automatic openers (as indicated per size / model) and Staging. Doors include Mortice locks & Aluminium handles.

All Thermowood used in Swallow buildings and accessories is manufactured from quality red wood pine. The process involves kiln drying the timber which is then put in a special oven where a powerful compressor removes the air. The temperature is raised to 215 degrees which bakes the timber. The result seals the capillaries, destroys resins and proteins and stabilises the timber. The benefits of this process mean:
- It can be left untreated
- All bacteria is killed, resulting in a sterile material
- Paints excellently and lasts up to three times longer
- The timber is totally natural and chemical free
- Reduced thermal conductivity
