The Shepherdess statue was created to provide the Gardener design with a partner. She is depicted in the style of a rustic, in period dress with bonnet, laced bodice, flowing skirt and buckle shoes. In her right hand she holds a wrought iron crook and under her left arm she gently cradles a small lamb.
