Pond surface skimmers are particularly clever helpers. They remove dirt particles before they damage water quality. Only a clean pond is a beautiful pond. Leaves, pollen or a smeary film on the surface makes life hard for the pond owner. A skimmer sucks just under the water surface and keeps the pond looking clean. They remove particles before they sink to the bottom, settle and damage the water quality. This reduces excess nutrients and promotes a healthy pond.

The Skimmer 250 surface skimmer does not require a separate pump and consequently is ideal for retrofitting. While skimming the surface for debris and particles they also enrich the pond water with oxygen. Although it requires a minimum depth to work, it is especially flexible and so ideal when the water level fluctuates.
