For those of you who are new to Landmann, here’s a little background information about the brand and their products.

Landmann Grill Chef Grand Charcoal XXL BBQ

For the past couple of years, we have personally done extremely well with the ‘Grill Chef Tennessee Broiler BBQ‘ which sold out numerous times with in store and online sales. Our customers loved the design of the barbecue with the unique feature of an adjustable charcoal grate. Landmann then introduced us to the ‘XXL charcoal wagon‘ which is basically a bigger version of the traditional broiler including 2 adjustable charcoal grates. Now in 2019, Landmann have brought out the ‘Grand XXL Broiler‘ which is for the serious charcoal barbecuer.

With a large 84 x 45cm cooking grill made from heavy duty cast iron, The Grand has the capability of cooking for up to 14 people. The grill is split into 2 sections, with double charcoal doors, and each section have a removable centre circle so you can add accessories such as a pizza stone or wok.

How the grates work and what they are for: 

The double height adjustable charcoal grates raise and lower so you can alter how close the charcoal is to the food you are cooking. This is so you can have the choice of direct cooking your classic burgers and sausages or indirect cooking “low and slow” for joints of meat or pulled pork. There are front loading charcoal doors which allow fuel to be topped up during cooking without disturbing the food on the grill. The folding side tables make this large barbecue actually quite easy to store, with a spacious cabinet underneath for charcoal and other accessories.

Landmann Vinson Gas Smoker

The Vinson Gas Smoker is a premium model, with 3 chrome plated cooking grills and 4 meat/fish hooks, there is plenty of room to smoke a variety of dishes. With the front viewing window and integrated thermometer, it is so easy to keep an eye on the cooking process and ensure you have the perfect temperature – just like you would with your kitchen oven. Topping up your water and smoking chips is a very easy task with a separate lower section to do so.

Landmann Grill Chef Mini Kamado Ceramic BBQ

This is Landmann’s first mini ceramic barbecue in the Grill Chef range. Standing at only 58cm tall, this compact barbecue is a solid piece of equipment designed with excellent heat retention properties. The stylish black glaze on the outer surface withstands all weathers – it won’t rust or crack so you can use it rain or shine. The Mini Kamado is made with thick ceramic walls, an integrated thermometer and a stainless steel sliding vent, all of which ensure you get the perfect temperate every time, whether you are cooking juicy steaks or a whole chicken.

Landmann Rexon 4.1 Gas Burner in Bordeaux Red

The Rexon 4.1 burner Bordeaux gas barbecue, which is also available in black, is built to a high standard and features Landmann PTS system and a warming rack. This model is ideal for most family sizes and can cook for up to 12 people.

Whats is PTS?

PTS stands for Power Thermal Spreading. This system is a result of technology development to achieve optimum utilisation of the heat around the grill. Landmann have stated that one of their biggest complaints about gas barbecues was uneven heating, too many flare ups and the fact they are difficult to clean. This is what lead to them developing the PTS system and they have spent time perfecting these issues.

1. The even heat revolution – The innovative PTS+ cooking system distributes heat evenly and efficiently across the cooking surface.
2. Seamless cooking grates – This keeps the grease from building up by using a specially designed vertical centre support bar, making the grease slide away and easier for you to clean. They also have streamlined heavy duty pins to hold the grates in place, keeping the grease build-up to a minimum. As a whole, the straight wall firebox design with minimal horizontal surfaces prevents this also.
3. Extreme angle flame tamers – These force drippings into the grease tray virtually eliminating flare-ups.
