Le Chameau Gents Wax Country Jacket in Mustard

The Le Chameau LCM18 Wax Country Jacket is a dry wax cotton country jacket featuring a moleskin collar, pocket detailing and articulated sleeves for freedom of movement. Windproof and showerproof, the jacket is made from 100% cotton and treated with a dry wax from the British mill Halley Stevenson, for a premium, water-repellent finish. The lower lining is made from bespoke British Le Chameau tweed.

The moleskin top collar offers soft comfort, warmth and durability, with a throat tab to allow the collar to be warm upwards for even greater protection. The tab can be snapped back to conceal when not in use.

The ultimate field jacket by Le Chameau. The LCM5 insulated field jacket is fully waterproof, lined with Primaloft for warmth and bursting with innovations such as super-load pockets, innovative shooting hood, built-in carry strap and articulated sleeves for exceptional freedom of movement.

The outer shell is an Italian produced fabric made from a cotton, polyester, polyamide mix and coated in a Durable Water Repellent finish to provide an extra barrier against the elements.

These jackets are waterproof and breathable and will protect you against extreme conditions. The internal cuffs have silicone grip tape to prevent any water soaking through at the sleeves.

Freedom of movement is maximised in the Insulated Field Jacket through a two-piece sleeve design, which has an exaggerated curve through the elbow, allowing the sleeve to follow the natural curve of your arm. For unrestricted movement when your arms are lifted, the bottom of the armhole is positioned lower on the body, while the sleeve length finishes approximately 4cm below the wrist. An ‘Action Back’ panel is integrated into the back of the jacket, providing extra width which allows you to move your arms forwards without being restricted.

The innovative super-load pocket system uses a re-enforced wire along the pocket mouth edges to ensure it stays open while shooting. Fast and unrestricted access to the super-load pocket is aided further by the angled pocket top and by the positioning of a hand warmer pocket below the main pocket flap. This flap can be secured inside the hand warmer pocket while the super-load pocket is in use. Water-repellent pocket lining and eyelets in the base of the pocket allow rainwater to drain away efficiently, while concealed snaps at the top of the pocket keep the pocket flat and in place when not being used.

Also including a  detachable shooting hood which is mesh lined for breathability and consists of a three-piece design which provides a comfortable shape and full 180 degree field of vision. The hood shape is specially designed to allow ear defenders to be worn beneath the hood if required, while the peak has been stiffened and can be moulded to your desired shape to keep water away from your face.
