Eden Queen Rose Honey is coming this Saturday!

Eden Queen, our local supplier of Leicestershire honey are delivering a completely organic, wonderfully floral, rose infused honey this weekend. Perfect to add into a hamper for a Christmas gift or if you just fancy something sweet. If you love Turkish delight then you will adore this honey. 

There are a few health benefits to having rose in your diet. Eating rose petals can help reduce anxiety and promote relaxation according to some research. Rose honey itself is known to help with pain relief. Their antiviral and antibacterial properties accelerate recovery time. If you have neck pain, adding just a teaspoon of rose honey into warm tea is an excellent, instant cure.

They can also be eaten raw, mixed into various fruit or green salads or dried and added to granola or mixed herbs. Fresh rose petals can also be muddled and added to liquid to create rose-infused beverages, jams, jellies and now honey! It has a very aromatic, floral and sweet flavour.

Our regular honey customers love our pure English honey and so we will be stocking up for the festive season. Warm up this Winter with hot honey and lemon to help sooth a sore throat and get rid of that cold. 

We also have lots of people swear by the local honey for helping with hay fever and other seasonal allergies. Having one tea spoon a day desensitises you to pollen and helps alleviate the symptoms. Sadly, there is no scientific evidence to prove this but why not give it a go.
