Cold Weather Calls For: Logs, Log Stores and Wood Burning Stoves!
With the drop in temperature and recent rise in heating costs, many households have now opted for wood burning stoves to see them through the cold seasons. Log burners have been used for hundreds of years to keep homes warm, and while open fires do the job, wood burning stoves are far more efficient on fuel consumption and heat output.
Amesti have been developing clean, efficient wood burning stoves for almost 30 years. They have developed a unique clean burning process at the key 600 degrees temperature, with a 3-stage air inflow, giving emissions below 2gr/hr. This makes the Amesti a first choice in cities and an excellent investment for environmentally and energy price conscious consumers. All Amesti stoves need to be installed by HETAS approved installers.
Logs, coal and kindling can all be purchased in-store from our Leicester Garden Centre.
You may want to stock up on fuel to last the whole season and store it for quick and easy use. The best way to store logs is of course with a log store. Logs are best stored stacked in a sheltered space with a raised floor so that they do not sit in the wet and with sides that allow air flow to dry them out.
