Charlie ovens are made of solid steel & weight 160KG are very easy to light & being so heavy & superbly insulated by design retain heat like nothing else, and can be set just like your oven at home to anywhere between 100-400 Degrees Centigrade and hold that temperature for hours – unattended. Charcoal or wood fired this is not a Barbecue ! Yes you can grill over an open flame if you wish, but the Charlie Oven cooks primarily from the heat retained & radiated from the thermal mass of the heavy steel construction, gently caressing your food from every angle – just like an AGA or heavy Range Cooker which is why people who love to cook, love Charlie Ovens. With the door closed, heat, moisture and all those lovely charcoal aromas are sealed in the oven, producing outstanding results from very little fuel.

Set the Charlie anywhere between 100-400 Degrees C.

Reaches 200 Degrees C. – In 15-20 minutes
Reaches 300 Degrees C. – In 25-30 minutes
