Autumn – The perfect season to enjoy local outdoor walks

Autumn – A season appreciated for the wonderful colours and fresh air. With all the gold and amber hues, many people love this season for walks in the woods and while we all wrap up nice and snug with jumpers, coats and scarves, appropriate footwear is an essential. Le Chameau have been at the forefront of the outdoor clothing and footwear market for many years with experience in producing quality products since 1927.

The Country Vibram is the perfect boot for walking in all conditions. Available with either a cotton lining or with a 3mm neoprene lining for extra warmth, the boot features a hardwearing ‘Vibram’ walking boot sole, offering extra grip on all terrain types and is very resistant to wear.

For something a little more substantial, the Vierzonord or Chasseur boots may be better suited for your needs.

The Vierzonord is one of Le Chameau’s best selling boots. Available with either a 3mm neoprene lining for insulation against the cold or an extreme 5mm neoprene lining for freezing conditions or for those who feel the cold. Both models have a gusseted calf with a snap fastening buckle and a double density rubber ‘Grip’ sole – perfect for all terrains.

The Chasseur is Le Chameau’s flagship boot incorporating quality and durability without losing out on style. This boot is available with either a luxurious full grain leather lining or a warm 3mm neoprene lining. The boot features a full length zip for ease of access and a hardwearing double density rubber ‘Grip’ sole.

If you prefer walking boots to rubber boots, we have a range suited for all walkers and all terrains.

The Mouflon is a traditional walking boot constructed from a 2.2mm full grain leather outer and a soft leather internal lining on the collar and tongue. The ‘Vibram’ sole provides excellent grip and comfort over all terrains and the Gore-Tex lining makes the boot 100% waterproof making it perfect for all walking conditions.

The Mouflon plus uses the same construction as the standard Mouflon but has extra height to provide added protection and a Duratherm lining to give increased warmth to the wearer.
