Le Chameau – Looking after your boots
Calling all Le Chameau customers… Here are the important facts about your boots warranty and the best advice for keeping them in great condition.
Warranty
Le Chameau boots come with a two year warranty from the original date of purchase. Please ensure you keep a copy of your proof of purchase (order details / receipt) as this is required to process any warranty claim.
The warranty covers the product for manufacturing faults and defects subject to reasonable wear and tear and does not cover misuse of the product (including deterioration of colour through UV exposure, heat, chemicals and general waste).
All soles worn on a concrete or abrasive surface will inevitably cause the life of the sole to be shortened just like shoes.
We recommend choosing the right type of footwear based on the intended use. Le Chameau footwear has been designed for a variety of uses, so it is important that your boots are selected according to it’s purpose. This includes the choice of linings and outsole, zipped or adjustable.
Product Care
To ensure your boots retain their good condition, it’s important that they are regularly cleaned with water and left to dry naturally.
Occasionally you may notice a white powdery ‘Bloom’ on your boots. Do not worry! This is insoluble particles rising to the surface of the high-grade rubber and is perfectly normal. This will not compromise the durability or performance of the boots.
